Meet the People Tour

Ordinary folk are the stars of this half-day tour, which takes you by minibus into Mossel Bay's township area and out onto the rural roads that run through the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains - roads not normally travelled by tourists. You might meet Millie, who makes jam out of wild watermelons and rose petals, or Janneman, who’s confined to a wheelchair and makes leather handbags. Heart of the Garden Route Tour

Drive along a road that was made for both trains and cars; cross wonderful mountain passes; and visit an old gold mine and a waterfall.

Over to Oudtshoorn

Head for the hills via the Robinson Pass, which follows an old elephant trail through the Outeniqua Mountains and into the hauntingly beautiful, semiarid Little Karoo. You’ll visit the Cango Caves - described as the eighth wonder of Africa - the fascinating Cango Ostrich Show Farm and the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Relax, enjoy the drive and let your guide take the strain!

Walking Tours

St Blaize Trail Coastal Walk - follow a contour path along the coast westwards from the St Blaize Lighthouse. Learn about the unique bio-diversity and the ancient archaeology of the area and the uses of local plants in traditional medicine. Enjoy a picnic at the walk’s end and return to Mossel Bay by road.
